Farrell & Monte Motorsport Happy with Classic & WSS Efforts

Monte Motorsports east coast driver Ryan Farrell is now heading towards home in readiness for the final 3 WSS rounds after a career highlight weekend at the Warnambool Classic & WSS Rd 12 on Australia Day.

In what was a cut through affair, out of the 77 cars nominated any one of 50 could have won the classic, Ryan said he has never seen such a high impact field gathered in Australia ever, certainly the toughest he has had to race against, so to come home with a 3rd after the classic was a pure high for the team.

The WSS Rd12 show was something different this year being run on the Australia Day public holiday & also a short turnaround from the classic weekend, "we needed to go in and consolidate the points chase as im still hopeful with a good run home i can creep into the top 3 of the series, we now head to Kalgoorlie & Perth where i have had some of my biggest wins, so it will be good to get home and back in front of people i know & that back me where ever i race"

John Farrell stated this morning from the airport "one of the most unbelievable shows i have witnessed, the classic WSS double header is a sure fire winner, Ryan had good pace all weekend & to finish 3rd from 77 cars entered as well as 14 Americans was an excellent result for us, we now can head towards home looking to get on tracks he knows well"

Ryan Farrell will now contest at Speedway City in Adelaide for the Australian Sprintcar Nationals, he was scheduled to run in WA for the SEG round in at Bunbury Speedway but the team has now decided it is logistically better if they run Adelaide and then onto Kalgoorlie.
