Farrell To Fly In For Select World Series Rounds

WESTERN Australian hard charger Ryan Farrell is rated as one of the best sprintcar drivers in the country.

He has overcome the best in Wanless World Series Sprintcars battles in the past and will be looking to do the same when he contests three up and coming rounds during Speedweek.

Farrell’s nomination at any race meeting spices up the field and when he is running the high line it is worth the admission price alone.

Before he joins the Speedweek series at Borderline Speedway in Mount Gambier on Sunday he has two big race meetings in Western Australia to contest.

The first of those is his WA Sprintcar Championship defence at Bunbury Speedway, two hours south of Perth this Friday night.

Then on Saturday night Farrell will be at the Perth Motorplex for the Christmas Cup - again in his WA95 machine.

Then he heads to the airport to race at Mount Gambier in round three of Speedweek in South Australia on Sunday night (which is round 11 of World Series).

This will be the first of three nights in the V88 machine he has driven successfully in recent seasons.

Farrell travels with the series to Avalon Raceway in Geelong to be part of the 39-strong field contesting that show next Tuesday night.

He is then locked in for the Warrnambool round at Premier Speedway next Thursday January 1.

And if that is not enough, he will then head back to Western Australia where he has nominated for the Annual Sprintcar Muster at the Perth Motorplex on Saturday January 3.

Farrell has already stood on the podium at a World Series round this year - but it wasn’t the result he was after.

Given he will be part of the series for three rounds of his six-race assault over the next week and a half there is a fair chance Farrell will be on the podium again.

Keep an eye out on Flyan’ Ryan - chances are he is coming to a race track near you
