Ryan Farrell Winds Up 2011 In Style: Team BCM

In what would be described as a turbulent 2010/2011 Australian Sprintcar Season 6 time West Australian sprintcar champion Ryan Farrell came out the other side a pure champion & proving no matter what or who he drives for he will always give 110%

The season started with Ryan sitting on the sideline but that didn’t deter him, he fought hard & with the help of some awesome people he finished off 2011 season in style & Ryan wishes to thanks some of the people who helped him throughout this ordeal.

Ryan is backed by a fantastic family & the support received this season from John & Sean Farrell was outstanding, they rode through every turn with him and the three of them form an awesome combination.

Some of the rides Ryan was fortunate enough to jump in during the season were kicked off by Hall Motorsports, Brian & Dianne Hall welcomed Ryan into their team & home as if I was one of their own & I cannot thank them enough for the opportunity to drive one of their cars, to Gilsey, Greg & David, I also thank you for the support & the network of help we formed in a short time.

During the World Series Sprintcar swing in Perth Ryan received a call from the Wayne Rowlett team who offered me a drive in the #41 car at Manjimup Speedway, We went on to win the round of WSS in Perth was just outstanding & I loved working with this team & giving them the encouragement that their gear was good enough to be on the top step of the podium, I thank Wayne & Malesy for the opportunity.

From that point it was back into the Halls Motorsport car where we gave the Perth WSS rounds & Ryan’s favorite race the Krikke Boys shootout a red hot go, we fell short by two positions again and im sure we will crack the big one for the boys real soon.

After the boys race Ryan received a few phone calls about running on the east coast, again after discussions with in Ryan’s own team he felt that he had the car speed to take on that challenge, so after receiving a call from John Weatherall & the #95 team at Brisbane & Maryborough speedways in Queensland, they were great outings & by the end of that drive we made it on the front row in Brisbane again proving that Ryan had the car speed to match it with the best.

Another call came from Colin Bulmer & his team, this was a great opportunity to drive for a great team & in some great gear, Ryan really enjoyed the experience of that ride & he again looks forward to the chance of being able to do that again in the future.

Now in any form of motorsport or just sport in general there is always a great friendship and/or relationship you share with special people & for Ryan Farrell that is no exception, the biggest supporter in his racing career would out a doubt be Russell Hall from Bunbury, the support shown to Ryan throughout the turbulent start to this season was over whelming & he continued that as soon as the Brian Hall ride became evident when Russell tipped in $$$ so as Ryan could make that dream a reality, Without people like Russell Hall Australian Speedway would be worse off. Which brings me to another group of amazing people that have been there throughout my entire career. Ryan & Sean Carren worked together on many race cars over a long period of time & when the opportunity to race again this year came about Sean, Dot, Rachael & Renee welcomed the challenge ahead with open arms, the support received from Sean & Goldstar Transport was outstanding & Ryan thanks them again.

So as you see you basically can’t go racing without a support network of great people & Ryan Farrell has that hands down. Ryan is working towards opportunities for next season & hopes to have that in place soon.

Ryan Farrell racing for: Farrell Motorsports, NRW, Revolution Racegear, Halls Haulage, Arai Helmets, HICOM Motors, KTM & Team BCM.
