"Flyan" Ryan Farrell will be racing this coming Saturday night in the SAWA WA 360 Sprintcar Title at Smokefree Collie Speedway.

Even though Ryan agrees that competing in a 360 Sprintcar title is not ideal after many years in the top level of Sprintcar racing he is left with little choice.

The fact is, I haven’t raced a 360 in some 18 years and at the end of the day laps are laps & racing is racing and due to 3 rain outs this season on the east coast for Colin Bulmer Racing & my WA Car owner Brian Hall is adamant he will not be a member of the SEG.

So this becomes another race meeting to me "Ryan was quoted saying".

He goes on to say "While the SEG stands firm by their preferential starting positions at race meetings here in WA, myself and I believe 5 or 6 other drivers are left with very few opportunities to race in this state without being forced to become a member of the SEG, unfortunately the SEG will not negotiate. I am short on track time in 2011 and is yet to get a full nights racing under my belt, forcing me to run this weekend in Collie".

With that in mind and some of the biggest shows in the country coming up after Xmas, Halls Motorsport boss Brian Hall who is also competing this weekend offered Ryan a ride in the Halls Motorsport #4 KPC, this is a brand new combination this weekend & Ryan is looking forward to the challenge.
