Ryan Farrell - Thanks To The Team
Farrell PR - BCM posted Wednesday January 13, 2010.
West Aussie hard charger Ryan Farrell is more than happy with the efforts team owner Luch Monte and his crew of Kim and Dillon Buswell have put in behind the scenes of his Performance Wholesale World Series Sprintcar campaign.
“This has been a dream come true and if it wasn’t for Luch and the boys it wouldn’t be happening that’s for sure.” Farrell said this week.
“Luch has provided everything we have needed plus more and it has been a huge commitment from him to provide me with this chance. And the work plus the miles Buzzy and Dill have put in over the last couple of weeks is sensational. We have raced something like eleven times in fifteen days across four states and its taken its toll on them but they keep giving me 100% each time we race, I cant thank them enough.”
Monte should be happy with his driver to as at this stage of the season as Farrell is still well cemented in the top five of the series points battle. Plus you can add to this a fine finish in the ‘battle within the series’ Speedweek championship where he was able to walk away with a well earned fourth place after the five nights of racing.
Farrell is pleased with how things are going on the track but wants more, and intends to try and grab that elusive PWWSS win in the closing rounds of the series over the coming weeks. “From my point of view we have done well keeping our nose clean and continuing to rack up the points, but if I’m going to move up the ladder I have to start getting wins.” He has won before at all of the tracks he finishes the series with (Parramatta, Kalgoorlie and Perth), and it will fill him with confidence when he races them over the coming weeks, starting this weekend at Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway.
It all culminates with three nights in his home state and if this team is to hit a white hot streak you can be assured that this is the place it will probably strike. But before that is one of the biggest events in the country, The Grand Annual Classic at Sungold Premier Stadium in Warrnambool, which means there are still plenty of miles to travel before the team arrives back home for some racing on the west coast.
He wants to grab that elusive win in his M.G. Monte & Sons/Miracle Recreation Equipment #95 J&J not for himself but for all those who are part of this seasons challenge. “I want a win bad to thank everyone who has supported me this year – Luch, the boys on the crew, our sponsors – and of course our fans who keep supporting us as every week. It would be a great way to say thank you to all of them.”
