Farrell To Make Amends For A Poor Weekend Ryan Farrell would like nothing better than to forget last weekend and bounce back with a good result at this weekends round of the Performance Wholesale World Series Sprintcar Championship at Parramatta Speedway. Things didn’t help Farrell start off the weekend well when on the Friday night he was involved in an automobile accident that left him sore and sorry for the next night at Charlton Speedway in Toowoomba, but Farrell isn’t using that as an excuse. “I was ready to race, unfortunately we just had a bad night, and the sixth in the B-Main hasn’t helped our point tally either.” After two rounds he stands twelfth in the season standings, only forty six points behind leader Brooke Tatnell. It’s not where he wanted to be after such a good result in the opening round, but he believes that he can make up some ground on the multiple champion this weekend. “I’m heading to Parramatta with a positive frame of mind as it’s a track I go well at and I have won there before, so I’m expecting big things this weekend.” He said over the phone this week. A win, or even a podium finish will help Farrell immensely, laying the foundation to head back up the points table as this is the year Farrell wants to make a true impression on the national scene on a regular basis. Some critics have labeled him a ‘one state wonder’ but the worst thing you can do is put Farrell down as he inclined to bounce back harder and faster than before. He has shown in the past to be one the hardest and spectacular drivers in the country and you can be assured that he will be hitting the TPCR clay with all guns a blazing to secure another win on the PWWSS trail.
