Farrell Slays The Competition: BCM
It can never be said that Ryan Farrell does things by Halves, Last weekend at the Perth Motorplex he drove the Brian Hall owned #5 to a podium finish in the 410s and was then called upon to hop into the sister 360 car & run the 360 main event also.
This was all done from the rear of the field all night long.
Simple result "we won the 360 main event & second place in the opens" Farrell said after the nights racing.
Farrell was forced to run ROF all night because car owner Brian Hall & Halls Motorsport are not members of the SEG, a decision he doesn’t take lightly but one he takes seriously, so that means at all SEG run events, Ryan has to run ROF. Brian Hall & Ryan Farrell will combine to do a fair few more meetings in WA giving race fans the chance of seeing one of the state’s best ever sprintcar drivers in action.
Ryan started the 410 main event from 24th on the grid, stone cold last, with 1 lap to go he had a chance to take the lead only to come up on some lapped traffic, so a second place was the reward for the teams efforts.
As Ryan got back into the pit area, Brain Hall & Keith Giles had already started to prepare the #3 car for Ryan to jump into for the 360 final, as Ryan hadn’t done any of the heats he started ROF in the final, by mid race he was in 6th place, with 6 to go he took the lead & drove away from the crowd, it was a pure master class.
Farrell now prepares again this Saturday night at Bunbury City Speedway in the 360 getting valuable laps under his belt ready for some real big events on the Ryan Farrell calendar.
Ryan would again like to thank Brain Hall & Halls Motorsport for their continued support of Ryan’s WA racing.
Ryan will compete at the upcoming Warnambool Classic & Australian Sprintcar Title for Colin Bulmer Motorsport later this month.
