Now it’s Time For Farrell to Resume in the West.
He has done it all in Western Australian Sprintcar racing, now Ryan Farrell needs the last two pieces to add to his resume.
That’s right, there are only two races that Farrell hasn’t won that he really wants to win, the Krikke Boys Shootout and the Australian Sprintcar Championship and in the next four weeks he probably has his best chance ever to claim these two races that have eluded him throughout his brilliant career.
The Krikke Boys is the one he most desires, and he will give it his all at the beginning of March, but before that he will once again battle it out with Australia’s best for the opportunity to wear the coveted number one on his tail tank.
And can he do it? You better believe it.
He has proved in the past that he can beat the best, having won six Western Australian crowns, trounced the touring teams of World Series Sprintcars, and has competed and beaten the best the east coast has to offer in their own back yards like Warnambool and Parramatta. Plus he has beaten some of America’s best when they have come to his home state.
And this year he has stepped it up a notch at the high speed bowl known as the Perth Motorplex.
He has the skill, he has the car, he has the team and the support of his many sponsors to win the only race that really matters at the Motorplex this season, the 47th running of the Australian Sprintcar Championship.
And this is why all season he has strived to make sure that he has ironed out all the bugs on the #95 Bunbury Auto Group/Cowra Contractors Maxim and he couldn’t be better situated to achieve his goal.
It’s been tough for both Farrell and his hard working team as the number of wins that are expected of this hard charging driver haven’t been forthcoming, but as a team they have achieved what they have set out to do, testing to find that extra car speed required to beat the best.
It will be three days of some the toughest and fastest competition ever to hit the Kwinana Beach complex and it wont be a easy, but you can be guaranteed that Ryan Farrell wont win this weekend through lack of effort to achieve the first of his goals in what is the month of money here in WA.
Ryan Farrell brings to West Australian Sprintcars fans a belief that this prestigious race can be won by a local car & he plans to have the 95 machine at the right end of the field when that flag drops.
